Find Your Unique Inner Rhythm April 26th
Sacred Flow: Meditative Dance
MOVEMENT, RHYTHM, SPIRIT AND HEALING
Join us for a transformative journey of self-discovery, spiritual connection, and
healing in our Sacred Flow: Meditative Dance class. This moving meditation practice,
rooted in ancient shamanic traditions, invites you to connect deeply with your
innermost self, tap into intuitive wisdom, and experience healing through
the power of ecstatic dance (also known as trance dance).
Ecstatic dance has long been used by shamans to enter altered states of consciousness, facilitating personal and communal healing. In modern times, this sacred practice has been revived, with scientific research now validating what ancient cultures have always known—movement and music have powerful therapeutic effects on both mind and body.
Sacred Flow will empower you to explore your unique inner rhythm,
moving your body freely and authentically to music that invites you to lose yourself in the beat.
This practice is ideal for anyone who has found sitting meditation challenging, or for those looking to deepen their meditation practice in a dynamic and embodied way. You’ll be guided through a gentle breathwork and stretching session to connect your body, mind, and spirit and foster a deep meditative state, followed by a guided body scan and free-form dance. With the support of a skilled facilitator, you'll be encouraged to tune into your emotions and express yourself in whatever way feels most natural and healing.
The class concludes with a closing circle, allowing you to reflect and integrate your experience. Whether you're new to meditative dance or an experienced mover, this safe and welcoming space will help you feel grounded, centered, and empowered.
